1. 这里的more than是一个组合型副词，表示“不止”。你理解了就不多说了。

2. or是连词，我们要看对应释义（摘自牛津字典）

used to introduce a word or phrase that explains or means the same as another

例句 It weighs a kilo, or just over two pounds.

至此你应该明白了，这里的or表示“换句话说，也就是”这样的意思。
