当 recommend 后接 that 从句时，用虚拟现在式，即：动词原形、或 should + 动词原形。又如：

I recommended that the reader be on the lookout for English idioms. 我建议读者注意英语习语。

表示“建议、命令、要求、主张、决定” 等意义的动词后，宾语从句用“(should）动词原形”。英式英语中用 should；美式英语中不用 should, 而直接用动词原形。

表示“决定”、“主张”的动词主要有： decide, insist, persist 等；

表示“要求”、“建议”、“命令” 的 动词主要有： demand, desire, require, request, propose, suggest, command, order, recommend 等。
