关于宾语从句和状语从句的问题

请问各位老师，这道中考题为什么不能选择A选项，正确答案为D我是能理解的，因为地点状语从句修饰谓语动词live,但是选择A,把where the air is fresher看成宾语从句，做介词in的宾语不是也说得通吗？

【答】 where 从句不能作介词 in 的宾语，可以作 from / to / about 的宾语。所以，选项 A. in where 是错误的。
