该句用一般过去时或一般现在时，都可以。

那只兔子如此胖以至于无法穿过那个洞。

The rabbit is so fat that it can't go through the hole.

The rabbit was so fat that it couldn't go through the hole.

为什么不能用过去时呢？如果描写发生在过去的情况，能用现在时吗？
