1.第一个句子是被动语态，还原为主动语态便是They invited Mary to give a speech in the morning. 那么，Mary是invited的宾语，to give a speech in the morning的动作由宾语Mary执行而不是主语They执行，所以不定式为宾语补足语。变成被动语态后，原来的宾语Mary作主语，不定式也随之变为主语补足语。 

2. 第二个句子是主动语态，含有两个不定式，第一个不定式作宾语，第二个不定式作宾语补足语。主语是The doctor，managed是谓语，动作由主语The doctor发出，且不定式to persuade...的动作也是The doctor发出，所以不定式to persuade...作动词managed的宾语；另外，不定式to persuade...带有自己的宾语the paitient，而不定式to receive an operation的动作又由宾语the patient所发出，所以是不定式的宾语the patient的补足语。

He asked to help you. 他要求帮你。（to help you作宾语）

He asked me to help you. 他叫我帮你。（to help you作宾语补足语）

I was asked to help you. 有人叫我帮你。（to help you作主语补足语）
