这里的to growing是正确的吗
在百词斩背单词时，有一个例句：The first stage to growing crops is to sow the seeds.（培育庄稼的第一步是播种）
请问这个to growing是对的吗？我觉得应该是to grow,就跟the first step to grow crops...一样。

由于 stage 指“事物发展的阶段，或做某事过程的阶段”，用 of 接名词或动名词。因此，应该使用 stage of doing 格式。翻译如下：
The first stage of growing crops is sowing the seeds.
表语也用动名词形式，与 growing crops 对称，体现语言美。
又如：
The final stage of waxing left it with a satin sheen.
最后上完蜡后，它看起来犹如缎子般光滑亮泽。

这里to growing应该是不对的。
参考下图可知，应为the first stage of growing crops
To growing 在这里是不对的，应该是：to grow, 不定式作定语。
The first stage to grow crops is to sow the seeds.
培育庄稼的第一步是播种。
另外: crops 最好翻译成--农作物。first stage 最好写成 stage one.
