网友这个问题，其实不简单，而是很深奥。

They were men enough to face the darkness. 他们都是堂堂的男子汉，都是些敢于面对现实的人。

此外，fool 也有此用法，相当于foolish。例如：

I was fool enough to believe him. 我够愚蠢了，竟然信了他的话。

You are fool enough to rent that house. 你租那栋房子真够傻的了。

You were fool enough to join that club. 参加那个俱乐部你真是蠢极了。

I have been fool enough to believe what he said.我太傻了，竟会相信他的话。

We are not fool enough to believe in such a thing. 我们还没有傻到会相信这种事情的地步。

He was fool enough to spend all the money at once. 他真傻，把钱一下子花光了。

She was not fool enough to believe him.她没有傻到去相信他。

He was fool enough to marry her.  他娶她真够傻。

He told me he was an actor and I was fool enough to believe him.  他告诉我他是演员，而我真傻，竟相信了他的话。

It was just too bad she’d been fool enough to believe him.  她竟然愚蠢到相信他，实在是太可惜了。

It was quite possible that she would be fool enough to buy that dog.  她完全可能笨得去买那条狗。
