appear可以用于被动语态吗
记得老师曾经说过，appear 是不及物动词，不能用于被动语态。但是在天星教育研究院和天星教育网组编的金考卷百校联盟系列《2014版全国著名重点中学领航高考冲刺试卷•英语》第八模拟卷（延边大学出版社出版）有这样一题：
This _______ one of the best novels that _______ been appeared this year.
A. are, have B. is, has C. is, have D. are, has
所给答案为 C。这个答案倒是没什么问题，但这里的 appear 为什么用了被动语态呢？是什么特殊用法吗？谢谢老师解答！

很显然，原题有错！appear 是不及物动词，不能用于被动语。以下正误句摘自商务印书馆出版的《英语正误用法指南》：
W：When will your new book be appeared?
R：When will your new book appear?
你的新书将于何时问世？

appear 是不及物动词，不能用于被动语态。在本题中，appear 的意思是“出版”，所以，下面一句中的 been 是多余的：
This _______ one of the best novels that _______ been appeared this year.
A. are, have B. is, has C. is, have D. are, has
又如：
His new book will be appearing in the spring. 他的新书将于春季出版。( 《牛津高阶英汉双解词典》第8版 ，p.81)
A new journal will appear monthly. 一份新的杂志将按月出版。（《英汉大词典》第二版，p.83 陆谷孙主编，上海译文出版社出版）
当“发表；出版”讲，appear也是个不及物动词，这里应该是误用了。
