我觉得：I told him how to fight to hold on to the company.

改变了原来句子的意思，原句是“我告诉他，我们是如何极力争取保住公司的”，现在意思是“我告诉他，他该如何极力争取保住公司的”，而且原句宾语从句用的是过去完成时，没有体现出来，不太理解，请指教。
