I not only spoke English very carefully, but very clearly as well.

not only…but also…通常用于连接两个相同的句子成分

那这句句子能不能表达成：I spoke English not very carefully, but very clearly as well.

再比如：

We go there not only in winter, but also in summer. 能不能表达成：I not only go there in winter,but also in summer.

另外：She is not only goo at mathematics，but also interested in English as well.

这个句子里既出现but also 句尾还有as well. 这种短语结构是否正确呢？

1. 句末有了 as well，代替了 also，所以就不要再用 also。

2. 以下4句表达都正确。not only ... but (also) ...，这个成对的并列连词，所接的成分可以不对等。

I not only spoke English very carefully, but very clearly as well.

I spoke English not only very carefully, but very clearly as well.

We go there not only in winter, but also in summer.

I not only go there in winter, but also in summer.

She is not only good at mathematics，but (also) interested in English (as well). also 和 as well 只保留一个，也可以都不用。
