‍as from 与 from 的区别是：
1.  as from 只用于表示时间或日期，即指事物开始的时间或日期。如：
We shall have a new address as from18 May. 我们自5月18日起将用新地址。
As from today, you are in charge of the office. 从今天起，本办公室由你负责。
I’ve decided to give up smoking as from tomorrow. 我已经决定从明天开始戒烟。
As from next Monday you can use my office. 从下星期一起，你可以使用我的办公室。
2.  而 from 的用法则比较广，它除了表示时间或日期外，还可表示地点、方向、来源、出处等。如：
He was blind from birth. 他从一生下来就是瞎的。
I'll be on holiday from 30 June. 我从6月30日开始休假。
We set sail from Liverpool. 我们从利物浦启航。
The train starts from London. 火车从伦敦开出。
He ran all the way home from school. 他从学校一路跑回家。
There's a man from the bank to see you. 银行有人来找你。
I borrowed this jacket from my sister. 这件夹克是我从妹妹那借来的。
