许多网友不熟悉 intellectual 这个形容词的用法，认为只是“明智的；有智力的”。这只是其中一种意思，这种用法是形容“人”的。如果描写“事物、事件”，intellectual 则表示“需要智力的”。例如：

这属于双重否定，等于肯定，再补充两句：

He is no less clever than his elder brother.  他和他的大哥一样聪明。

She is no less good at swimming than Mary.  她和玛丽一样擅长游泳。

【注意】在网友给的句子中， intellectual 是个多音节词，故之前加 more。如果是少音节词，如big, hot, fast, tall 等，则直接加-er。
