Easy come， easy go

We often encounter unfavorable situations in our life, such as breaking up with a friend, losing money, or failing in a project. When such things happen, an old saying probably occurs to us: easy come, easy go. However, we may wonder why something easy to get is also easy to lose?

We think highly of what we pay a lot to get but barely value what we get effortlessly. Thus we take the “easy come” thing for granted and use it unrestrainedly. Soon we waste out what we have got.

Besides, the chance that we get something with no cost is rare. That means that although we may have a wind-fall, we don’t have the resource of it. Then it can be imagined how it is consumed quickly without any supplement when we treat it casually.

All in all, the reason that the things easy to get are also easy to go is the lack of understanding and wisdom which are essential for us to hold the treasure.
