如果说 most of the schools 肯定没问题，它表示“大多数学校”（这些学校当中的大多数），但如果是 most of the school 呢？可以这样说吗？我是说用它来表示“这所学校的大部分”。

▲most of 后面的名词或者代词可以是复数，也可以是单数，但是在名词前面必须有限定词（即冠词、形容词性物主代词、名词所有格、指示代词等），在代词前面不用限定词。例如：
Most of my friends live abroad .我的朋友大多数住在国外。（不能说：Most my friends ...）他吃了两张比萨饼和大半只冷鸡。
He's eaten two pizzas and most of a cold chicken .
Most of us thought he was wrong. 我们大多数人认为他错了。
