虚拟语态中省略的问题

You should have thanked her before you left.

I meant to, but when i was leaving i couldn't find here.

老师请问在这个问题中为什么可以省略have.

而： Why didn't you take part in my birthday party yesterday?

I would like to have, but I had an unexpected guest.

在这个问题中为什么正确答案是 to have 而不可以像上一个一样是to呢？

这个对话中，meant to是不恰当的。应改为had meant to 或者 meant to have。

第二个对话中，would like to have是正确的。

表示愿望、打算的词，如：hope、expect、mean，intend，want，suppose等，其过去完成时表示过去未曾实现的愿望或者意图。如：

I had hope to see more of Shanghai, but I didn't get the chance.

I had meant to help you, but I was too busy at that moment.

所以，你第一个句子，是没有那么恰当的，meant应该用过去完成时。

第二个句子，根据虚拟语气中 would like/love to have done 的结构，可以表示过去愿意做但未做成，所以第二个句子是完全恰当的。
