答案是B。但我想知道A为什么不可以？

it’s the reason省略了关系副词why不可以吗？不是可以省略why的吗？

前句说明原因，后句常用That's why表原因；前句说明原因，后句常用That's because表结果。比较：

He was late for school. That was why he got scolded.

He got scholded. That was because he was late for school.
