定语从句或各种从句的疑问

定语从句中的动词疑问，及物动词和不及物动词用法。 This is the room where i once lived. 这是我在百度百科看到的例句，他说这里的live是不及物动词，不是后面一定要加个in吗？ This is the room where i once lived in？

where是关系副词，不但引导定语从句，还要在从句中作地点状语。lived既然有副词where作地点状语了，还要介词in干什么？？？
