老师好，

Sales of wines declined in the late 1980s, but they began to grow again after the 1991 report that linked moderate consumption of alcohol, and particularly of red wine, with a reduced risk of heart disease.

请问老师，划线处是同位语吗？如果是，为什么不加consumption呢？是被省略掉了吗？为什么要加and呢？and跟谁并列呢？

划线部分为插入语，不是同位语。同位语与先行词指的是同一个人或事物，这里alcohol和red wine是包含关系。插入语是说话人的解释。of red wine前省略了moderate consumption。

即linked consumption of A with C，and particularly consumption of B with C.
