动词时态用法

B：Well, you should have put details of your market research spending and the interest you will have to pay on the bank loan.

A：Great thinking, Sally. I forgot those important items.

对话A里的forgot，这里为什么用过去时态，而不是用一般现在时态？

上句，should have put：过去本应该做(而没有做)。这已经告诉我们，事情发生在过去。

下句，I forgot those important items. 我当时我忘了那些重要的事项。
