这句话中，主句的谓语动词应该是is not arguing, 还是后面的think straight呢？
如果是is not arguing, 不应该用as many be吗？如果是think straight, 应该是用as many do吧？

又例如：
I don't want to set down a series of facts in a diary, as most people do.
as most people do中的do是替换want呢？ 还是set down呢？为什么？

do 指“通常情况”，is doing 指“眼前情况”。主从句的时态不一定要完全一致或等同。如果人们过去那样认为，则用 as many did。
【翻译】不像其他许多人那样，他并不认为我们说话方式不再规范就会使我们不能够准确的思考。
