因 share 的宾语太长而后移，为了照顾句子匀称。

Jack told his mother the cat knocked the vase off the table.

此句不可以。因为宾语较短不需要后移。此外，off the table （离开桌子）是 knock 的结果，先有宾语才有结果，所以不可调换位置。

另外，off the table 和 with you 两个介词短语，性质不同。off the table 表示“knock 的结果”（结果状语是不能置于宾语前的）；而 with you 表示“share 的方式”（而方式状语可以在动词之前），如果宾语太长，状语位置可以提前。
