which引导的定语从句的成分分析和句意理解

In fact, there are now so many deer that some are being sent to places which would like to return this kind of deer to the wild.

places是先行词，后接定语从句which would like to return this kind of deer to the wild.

但是，我无法理解句意，不会分析成分，关系代词which作定语从句的主语，后面的定语从句结构很难理解，不会分析成分，不知道是句意是什么？

结构：

which（主语）would like to return （谓语动词） this kind of deer（宾语） to the wild. （地点状语）

return the deer to the wild：让这些鹿回归野外

不过，places 作主语，却用了 would like to（想要），可能要表达“拟人” 的效果吧。
