I wonder why...和 I don't know why...后面用句号还是问号

下面的句子有疑问语气吗？

I wonder why you like this kind of cake so much

I don't know why you like this kind of cake so much

句末的标点是用问号还是句号?

不能叫“疑问语气”。应叫“陈述句” 或 “疑问句”。

“直接问句” 做了宾语从句后，就成了“间接问句”。间接问句是句子的一个成分，只有主句决定着这个句子是陈述句，还是疑问句。

以下两句都是陈述句，句末用句号：

I wonder why you like this kind of cake so much.

I don't know why you like this kind of cake so much.

以下句子才是疑问句，句末用问号：

Do you know why he likes this kind of cake so much?

第一句用句号或问号均可，第二句只能用句号：

正：I wonder why you like this kind of cake so much.

正：I wonder why you like this kind of cake so much?

正：I don't know why you like this kind of cake so much.

误：I don't know why you like this kind of cake so much?

说明：I wonder 后接宾语从句时，句末用句号（语气比较确定）或问号（语气不那么确定）均可。更委婉的说法是 I was wondering...情形也是一样。如：

I wonder if you could lend me £5. 不知道你能不能借给我 5 英镑。

I was wondering if you could lend me £5? 不知道你能不能借给我 5 英镑。

I was wondering if I could borrow your car. 请问我能否借一下你的汽车？

I was wondering if I could borrow your car? 请问我能否借一下你的汽车？

剔除语料库里边儿的口语例句，我觉得coca是不支持用问号儿的。
