was responsible for doing与was responsible to do的区别
老师说表示负责做某事，应说 be responsible for doing sth，而不说 be responsible to do sth。比如：
Tom was responsible for cleaning the windows. 汤姆负责擦窗户。
请问除了表示“负责做某事”外，在其他情况下可以用 be responsible to do sth 吗？

▲表示负责做某事，其后通常不接不定式，而接 for doing sth。如：
Tom was responsible for cleaning the windows. 汤姆负责擦窗户。
You’ll be responsible for keeping the room tidy. 你负责把房间保持整洁。
The Inland Revenue is responsible for collecting income tax. 税务局负责征收所得税。
▲另外，be responsible for doing sth 还可以表示对某事负责（负有责任）。如：
Who is responsible for breaking the mirror? 这镜子是谁打破的?
