how much 是疑问词还是融合关系代词

The proportion of one amount to another is the relationship between the two amounts in terms of how much there is of each thing.

融合性关系代词的特征是：这个代词本身既充当先行词，又充当关系代词。how much 不具备这个特点，故不是融合性关系代词。它仅仅是一个含有how 的疑问代词（或疑问副词）而已。以下句子才是：

I can't agree with what he said.

=I can't agree with the thing(s) that he said.

Whoever did this will sooner or later be caught and will be punished.

=Anyone who did this will sooner or later be caught and will be punished.
