例句1：I can't stand much more of this.

我可承受不了太多这样的事。

我的疑问1：

much 是修饰代词much的比较级more，对吗？much more of这是什么句型？

例句2：

She earns a lot more than I do.

她赚的钱比我多多了。

我的疑问2：这里的a lot 也可以修饰代词much的比较级more？

这里的more是earn的宾语，这里more默认就是钱，对吗？比如：

John is smoking more now than Mary is doing.

这里more默认就是香烟，对吗？
