老师好，请问watch sb后面什么时候用do什么时候用doing呢？

She watched the kids playing in the yard.

They watched the bus disappear into the distance.

She watched the kids playing in the yard. 指观看的时候“玩”的动作正在进行，仅指当时一时的情况，至于“玩”的动作何时开始何时结束都不得而知。

They watched the bus disappear into the distance.指观看到巴士消失的整个过程，从看到它一直到它消失在远方。

比较：

I watched him repairing the washing machine. （仅指修理的动作正在进行）

I watched him repair the washing machine. （修理的全过程）

They watched the bus disappear into the distance.（不定式做宾补描述开始+过程+结束的全过程）

现在分词作宾补和不定式作宾补区别如下

(1)A watch B doing sth：B动作开始时间和结束时间A都不知道，但是知道B动作一定会结束。现在分词作宾补，描述只是“中间部分片段”即“开始+过程+结束”

(2)A watch B do sth：B动作开始时间和结束时间A都知道，不带to不定式作宾补，描述的是“开始+过程+结束”整个过程。
