in email和by email有区别吗

K：How can business travelers increase their effectiveness while dealing with people from other cultures (in person, on the phone, in email)?

C：The fastest and easiest way is to model the style of someone in person, on the phone, and by email.

这两段对话里的介词in email和by email表达的是同一个意思吗？in，on是同样的用法吗，表示是以……方式吗？

in email 表示“在电子邮件中；在电子邮件方面”。

by email 表示“通过电子邮件这种通信方式”。

不过，对话中都是问的方式，所以第一句也应该是 by email 才对！

简单点说，

### 我想去张三那谈某事，后来想想还是不去了，通过email来解释吧 ---> by email

### 要与老张谈的事有三点，都列在email 里了 ----> in email

这是它们最基本的含义，

但问题是，有时“用email”可以是上述两者的中的任一种。虽然含义不同：

I will talk about it later in/by email. --- 对方都只好等那邮件了。

可以有in email 的原因，是email可作不可数名词。

然后就是类似 in his car/by car这种区别，可以说in my email, 但不可说 by my email

如，I have attached some sample pictures in my email.
