并列谓语的判断以及为什么没有连词

There he spoke who could relate the beginning of men far back in time, said that the Almighty made the earth, a bright filed fair in the water that surrounds it, set up in triumph the lights of the sun and the moon to lighten land-dwellers, and adorned the surfaces of the earth with branches and leaves, created also life for each of the kinds that move and breath.

英国文学选读里的一句话,能麻烦老师分析一下吗? 这里said是并列谓语还是什么? 为什么前面没有连词呢?

There he spoke (=sang) who (=he) could relate (述说) the beginning of men far back in time(字面上的意思), said that (标红的并列, 别问为什么没连词,前段时间有这方面的帖子)

the Almighty made the earth, a bright field fair(美好的东西) in the water that surrounds it,

划线部分同位语;it = a bright field fair= the earth

set up in triumph (状语提前了) the lights of the sun and the moon to lighten land-dwellers, and adorned the surfaces of the earth with branches and leaves, created also life for each of the kinds that move and breath. (加黑的并列)

这是第一眼的读感,供参考。

我觉得,一个1000多年前的,而且还是诗歌题材就没必要了太纠结语法了。
