这可不是chinglish，能写出这种格式英语的人，百分之一百二十是本族语中受过良好教育的人。只不过楼主提问中的his bearded month，应该是mouth，否则后面说不通了。定语从句修饰words，不是sounds。

本来要说“话words”的，虽然这种“话”别的马不会理解，现在却在“发声make sounds”

Have reason to understand，这个结构是想表达“没理由能够理解”吗？似乎是chinglish。如果按照英语思路，应该理解为"没有理由去主动的理解"，根据上下文又讲不通。
