逗号句叫着run-on sentence, 更高大上的名称是 comma spliced sentence.
平常能接触到的这种令人印象至深的comma splice, 可能算是丘吉尔的这段话了:
From this nothing will turn us --- nothing. We will never parley; we will never negotiate with Hitler or any of his gang. We shall fight him by land, we shall fight him by sea, we shall fight him in the air, until, with God's help, we have rid the earth of his shadow and liberated its peoples from his yoke.
上面两个红色的逗号算comma splice,后面绿色的部分不算。
这种东西,语法上是错句,--- 不要妄图找个正确的解释。
但它又可以是一种写作风格,--- 一种难以模仿与应用的风格:
这种艺术化风格,有语言的气场问题,还有韵律方面的因素,还有某些特别的连接方式:
I came, I saw, I conquered. (Veni, vidi, vici Julius Caesar )
模仿上句 They came, they saw, they left.
He will not win, be he ever so brave.
即便是恺撒的那句话,维基上仍然写有: "I came; I saw; I conquered.")
