近几年与过去几年英语的表达

in the past years

in the last years

在中文中近几年和过去几年是有差别的，以上两句是否表达同一意思，还是存在差别。

past包括现在，记忆为“现在放p”

last不包括现在，只是接近现在。

故：

the events of the past year指今年/今年+去年（从今天算，回推365天）

the events of the last year 指去年

注意，复数。和现在时间不产生联系。
