1 this和his都是中位限定词，二者互相排斥。一个名词前最多只能用一个中位限定词。所以这里肯定是笔误。删去this。

2 在早期英语中，when时间从句和条件句一样，表示将来都用动词原型式虚拟语气。随后用should do代替动词原型，再到现代英语用一般现在时或一般过去时表示将来或过去将来。所以，这个when从句中的shoule类似于if从句中的should. 你可以将should be reported改为was reported，意思一样，但语体风格不同。前者带有古风。

3 the next order would be for his destruction

for在这里表示目的意义。作表语。你的例子中for虽然也表示目的意义，但都是定语。
