1. involve 是及物动词“涉及”,litigation (诉讼)为其宾语。为何要用过去分词呢?

involving litigation 叫现在分词短语,作定语,修饰cases,等于...cases which involve litigation。

cases involving litigation涉及诉讼的案件(即:需要打官司的案件)

若用过去分词,involved litigation 怎么理解?它与cases 是何关系?没法解释

2. being decided 是动名词的被动式,more than 60 cases 为其逻辑主语。构成“动名词复合结构”, 作resulted in 的宾语。

result in doing ...;result in sb/sth doing...
