to me/for me 辨析(it is important to me to be...)

It was important to me to be financially independent of my parents. 在经济上不依赖父母，这对我很重要。

以上是牛津词典例句。为什么是to me, 而不是for me呢？二者使用上，含以上究竟有何区别？

你的句子中的 to me 也可移至句首：

这样用的 to 其实不是对某人来说，而是表示“在某人看来”“某人认为”，所以句意为：我认为，在经济上不依赖父母是很重要的。

如果用介词 for，而不宜将 for me 移至句首，此时的 for me to be financially independent of my parents 其实是由介词 for 引出的不定式复合结构，me 为其后不定式的逻辑主语。
