think of 与 think about的用法区别

听老师说过这两个短语动词意思一样的呀。

1. We should ______ the life on our beautiful planet.

答案为：think of 或者 think about 都行。

2. I'm ______ going to France for our holiday.

答案为：thinking of。

think of 与 think about 的含义有时相同，有时不同。在以下句子中，think of 与 think about 的含义不同，不能换用：

He thought about the problem. (=He pondered / considered the proplem.)

He thought of the problem. (=He brought the problem to his mind.)

这里的 think about 意思是“考虑”“思考”，而 think of 的意思是“想到”“想起”“想出”。

think about作考虑；回想，想起解。有时作审查（某一计划等）解。

think of除作考虑，思索解外，还有想象，记起；想出的意思。与could, should, never等连用，表示“有……看（想）法”；与副词短语连用时，表示“对……有某种看法”。例：

I’m thinking about the comrades-in-arms I lostin the Liberation War. 我在回想在解放战争中失去的战友。

I must think about it and let you know mydecision. 这件事我得考虑考虑，然后再告诉你我的决定。

What are you thinking of? 你在想什么？

I shouldn’t think of doing such a thing. 我简直想象不到作这类事。

Think of what the doctor told you. 想想大夫告诉你的话吧。

Let’s think of a way out of the difficulty.让我们想个办法解决困难。

We all think highly of the Party Secretary.我们都敬重党支书。
