So it is that 是个“口语习语” ，演讲中时常出现，后接句子，等于So（所以；因此）。这个说法是为了表达多样化，结构富有变化，增强语感。
有时，它可以翻译成：“所以，可以这样说”。
直观分析：
So those of us（主语） who are yet determined that “America will be” （定语从句，修饰those of us）are led down the path of protest and dissent,（谓语部分） working for the health of our land.（现在分词短语，作方式或伴随状语）
