老师说，句子中的 And so do their customs 有问题，应前面的句号改为逗号，即：
As we all know, English-speaking countries have quite different culture from our own, and so do their customs.
老师的理由是 and so do I 这样的倒装句不能单独成句，除非是在对话中。如：
A: I like the film.
B: So do I.

so do I 这样的倒装句可以单独成句。请看“爱词霸”上的两个例句：

Her actions and thoughts became distorted. So did her behavior. 她的行动和思想变得扭曲了，她的态度也是。

Calendar companies love it. So do religious magazines. 日历公司特别喜爱这种光，宗教杂志也喜欢。

句1，前后是两个独立的句子，中间用句号。

句2，前后是两个并列的分句，由and连接，中间用逗号。
