分词独立主格和with复合结构的区别

这里为什么不选C而选D呢？

C项不算错。但有歧义，后面的结构可能被理解为定语，也可能被理解为with的宾补。选D则只有一种理解，独立主格结构作伴随状语。所以D是最佳答案。

关于with的用与不用的情况

加不加都可以，随意；不加的比加的更正式；

下面那种完成时形式的，一般不太加。

He sat in the chair, his arms folded.

He sat in the chair, with his arms folded.

The students having left early, the teacher decided to do sth.

= The teacher, her students having left early, decided to do sth.
