请问,这种句式是分词作状语还是仅仅看作是被地点隔开了的进行时?

是“主系表” + 状语。不是进行时态。

He （主）is （系）still at the station （表）looking for his watch.（伴随状语）

跟下句表达的意思不同：

He is still looking for his watch at the station.
