在网上看到过关于be famous for, be famous as, be famous to的用法区别,但好像互相不完全一致,比较相信英语答疑网的专家,所以来麻烦一下。
我用3个典型的例子,区别3个介词:
He is famous as a film star. (as 表示身份,以电影明星的身份)
He is famous for his excellent performance. (for 表示原因,因为出色的表演)
He is famous to young people. (to 表示对象,对...而闻名;为...所熟知)
以上3句,famous 换成 well-known 意思不变。
