我也查了一下《韦氏高阶英汉双解词典》中的luck词条。
b: success in doing or getting something顺利做成;成功做到。
Have you had any luck [=success] (in) finding a new apartment?你顺利找到新的公寓了吗?
I've had no luck in finding a new apartment.我没能找到新的公寓。
所以,Good luck finding your wallet.“你找到了钱包可真幸运。”是简练口语,是You had good luck (in) finding your wallet.(=You had the luck to find your wallet)的省略。其中,finding your wallet为现在分词作方面状语,若前面加in,则为介词短语作方面状语(finding your wallet为动名词短语作介词in的宾语)。又如:
Wood has not had much luck in carving out a career.伍德想干出点名堂来,可是总不能如愿。《柯林斯高阶英汉双解词典》
