原句有误，错在 contaminatinbg 的逻辑主语是results，还有are 的主语应为复数名词，前文找不到。应改为：

When gasoline properties such as density of compaction （主语。划线部分为后置定语）contaminate （谓语动词）the soil（宾语）, the results show how this parameter decreases up to 2.18 %（主句）.
