2 as if doing的问题

Everywhere around us we see people with a perfect body, we hear celebrities that tried this kind of procedures to enhance their femininity, and then you look in the mirror and start to hate your physical appearance. That’s when it crosses your mind that all this can disappear as if by magic, using the surgeon’s knife.
