to作介词的问题（有些形容词后接to doing，但同根名词后面却接不定式）
例如 be commited to doing sth
这里to是介词，那么为什么 he made a commitment to help the poor. 同根出来的commitment，为什么这句话就要用不定式呢？

make a commitment to do sth.
以上两个词组，不一样的词性，不一样的结构，没有可比性。
be committed to doing sth.：
这是一个形容词短语，意为“致力于做某事”。to 是介词，表示“致力的方向”，后面接名词或名词概念的成分，包括动名词在内。这跟下列词组是一样的结构，请记忆：
