但是还有人认为它是 back to earth 看做状语，所以到底哪种是对的呢，谢谢!

网友的分析，不如后者更有说服力，按状语分析好。

我的观点是：分析句子，更要注重谓语动词发生的背景及结果，而不要太在意宾语怎么样。

put the book on the desk 跟网友的句子没有什么区别，难道把on the desk 分析为宾补？

当然，具体情况要具体对待：

1. He found the fruit in the refrigerator. 这句，in the refrigerator 分析为宾补或地点状语，均可。

2. He found himself in the hospital. 这句，in the hospital 只能是宾补，不能是found 的地点状语。
