网友的问法不太恰当，不能说know about 与 learn about的区别。

know 和 learn 都是及物动词，它们都是有宾语的——宾语就是开头的What。而about 介词短语是修饰what 的定语。我们把其中一个变成陈述句，看一下：

We （主语）can know （动词）nothing （宾语）about the auther.（定语）

我们对作者的情况一无所知。原来的what 变成了nothing。

如果说区别，就是know 和 learn 在词义上的区别。其实，在这里是同义词，都是“知晓；获悉”。不用区别。

关于这两句：

We know from the ads that the Enterprise Shopping Centre needs a person.

We learn from the ads that the Enterprise Shopping Centre needs a person.

know 和 learn 都是接that 宾语从句，from 表示“从哪里获悉，知道”。
