Which指代的the natural sounds在定语从句中担当什么成分
The suggestion is that primitive words could have been imitations of the natural sounds which early men and women hear around them. 总觉得怪怪的，为什么还要个them呢，感觉which就可以指代了？？请教老师谢谢!

1. around them 指around men and women，跟which 无关。
2. which 是关系代词，作hear 的宾语。
