in the crowd和among the crowd这两个短语有和区别?

(1)in the crowd在群中，强调在一个整体的范围内

Scattered groans and whoops broke out in the crowd.  

人群里不时发出几声抱怨和欢呼。

He caught a glimpse of her in the crowd.  

他一眼瞥见她在人群里。

She looked for him but couldn't see him in the crowd.

(2)among the crowd 强调在…中;被…所环绕
