more important 是形容词的比较级，more importantly 是副词的比较级，这是毫无疑问的。如果在这个句子中不用比较级形式，而是用了原级的important，那么，语法肯定是不允许的。我们肯定不能说：

用more important 代替more importantly，里面有更深层的原因。我认为，英语为了表达上的简练，有时可以使用比较级形式的形容词，替代比较级形式的副词，原因在于副词的音节比形容词多，成为比较级后不够简练。就跟more important 替代more importantly 一样。例如：

Sunshine helps people who have been sick get well more quick.（原本应使用more quickly）

Well, these things are easier said than done.（原本应使用more easily）
